World e-class™ Webinars
Welcome to TMA World's World e-Class Webinar programme for 2009.
Our program is designed to help identify the tools you need to meet and overcome challenges in your role. Our sessions are deliberately brief and provocative to help you to think around problems and to identify how to get the best from your most powerful asset: your people.
Can global virtual teams ever work?
Yes . . . but they need to be laser-focused on developing strengths in six competency areas: Cooperation, Convergence, Coordination, Capability, Communication, and Cultural Intelligence. What we call the Six Cs of global collaboration. Global virtual teams (GVTs) face significant challenges in overcoming geographic, time zone, and cultural differences, but the challenges can be managed if a team shares the same understanding of what is important to GVT success.
This session was held on 20 May 2009.
