The team develops a high level of awareness about how well it is functioning. This allows the team to focus its attention on areas that will provide the best return on time and energy invested. How long does it take to complete?

How does it work?

Data gathering:

The team leader and team members complete an online questionnaire. Scores are transmitted to TMA World for processing and report generation.

Interactivity:

Team Results Dashboard: An online feedback report presents the numeric and written data in seven key areas: People, Trust, Purpose, Roles and Responsibilities, Communications, Operations, and Technology. Each area is divided into smaller categories to enable highly focused targeting on critical stress points.

Team Resources: A database of 'C.A.R.E.' (Consequence, Advice, Results, and useful Exercises) teaching resources is included to support the development of virtual team skills.

Team Action Plan: Enables the user to incorporate the team’s results into a working plan with agreed actions, assigned roles and timelines for implementation.

Team Benchmark: Benchmarking allows teams to assess their performance in relation to other teams in their department or organisation.

Team Tracker: Teams can assess their performance over time using detailed analysis.  

Feedback Options:

Discussion of the Virtual Team Navigator feedback report's implications and related action planning can by led by the team leader or alternatively by a TMA facilitator via teleconference, videoconference, or virtual classroom technology.
